What good looks like
capacity is modeled per country with language coverage and currency-normalized pipeline, and an uncovered-language gap is surfaced rather than hidden in a blended EMEA average
What this role does
The Manager, Business Development EMEA is the business-development manager for EMEA, accountable for the region's SDR and BDR team, pipeline-creation target, local market adaptation, capacity, and handoff quality. It is a Manager seat whose central outcome is the EMEA sales organization receives predictable, accepted pipeline from a managed prospecting system that reflects the region's markets, time zones, languages, ownership rules, and local constraints. The work concentrates on EMEA business-development management, regional ICP and market adaptation, multilingual or multi-country coverage where applicable, team capacity, prospecting quality, accepted pipeline, and AE handoffs. The signature strength is turning that domain into evidence, decisions, governed actions, and clean hand-offs without borrowing another role's authority. This is one complete roster package under the owner's strict 1:1 rule. Source relationship: The explicit EMEA qualifier is the domain lens. Company-specific countries, languages, legal constraints, and reporting line must be verified. Verified exact roster title and source mapping. The title does not by itself establish geography, manager layer, or compensation authority beyond the scope stated here; confirm the company charter. The strict boundaries are operational, not cosmetic:
