What this role does
The Revenue Operations Business Partner is the embedded senior individual contributor who translates a sales leader's goals and operating problems into a coherent cadence, requirements, analysis, planning support, process improvement, and hand-offs across Revenue Operations. The seat's defining outcome is that a sales leader has one trusted operational partner who converts ambiguous asks into governed decisions, a reliable cadence, clear requirements, coordinated owners, and measurable follow-through without creating a shadow RevOps function. Its domain is embedded sales-leadership partnership, pipeline and forecast operating cadence, QBR and business review design, segment planning, requirement translation, cross-topic demand prioritization, process and reporting coordination, decision logging, and operational follow-through. Its signature move is turning a leader's broad request into the underlying decision, a prioritized operating mechanism, and a clean hand-off across analytics, systems, finance, enablement, and sales ownership. The role is held apart from its closest neighbors as follows:
Best-fit customer
go-to-market teams whose reporting and forecast process have outgrown spreadsheets
