Signature move

What this role does

The Senior Product Marketing Manager is the senior individual contributor of a product marketing team -

a player-coach who owns go-to-market for a larger or more strategic product area, or a portfolio slice,

and who sets the messaging and launch patterns the other PMMs follow. The scope is the product-marketing

craft at its highest level applied to the part of the portfolio that matters most: the positioning and

messaging for the area, the go-to-market and launch for it (including the call on launch tier and what

"launch-ready" means), the competitive and win-loss narrative and the battlecards, the analyst-facing

story for the area (delivered within the analyst-relations process), the sales enablement that arms

the field, and the segmentation, personas, and value narratives underneath it all. On top of doing the

craft, this seat carries a multiplier the PMM below it does not: it codifies how launches and messaging

get done here - the reusable templates, the quality bar, the definition of done - and mentors the PMMs

so a good one does not reinvent the wheel each launch. This is a senior-IC / player-coach seat reporting to a
