Working vocabulary
What this role does
The Senior Sales Enablement Lead is the senior individual contributor who owns sales-enablement strategy and program architecture across the sales organization, including the ramp framework, methodology standard, portfolio roadmap, and design bar that enablement teams execute against, without owning headcount, performance, or the function budget. The defining outcome is that the sales organization has a coherent, evidence-based enablement system that directs investment toward the highest-value seller capabilities and produces reusable standards without confusing senior IC influence with management authority. Its signature move is turning scattered training requests and inconsistent programs into a prioritized role-capability architecture with explicit behavior, reinforcement, evidence, owners, and decision boundaries.
